Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga is a system of yoga and meditation that promotes health, happiness, and spiritual awareness. It is a complete science that combines postures (asanas), movement, sound current (mantra), breath (pranayama) and meditation into powerful sets called kriyas. It is designed to provide you with the experience of your highest consciousness.

The practice encompasses and draws from all yogic systems and techniques and is a potent and effective system of self-transformation and personal development.

Kundalini Yoga stimulates individual growth through systematic techniques that strengthen the nervous system and balance the glandular system for increased stability and vitality. Meditation improves mental concentration, sharpens awareness, and gives the direct experience of consciousness.

All classes are beginner friendly, no previous experience required. Each class has its own unique theme.

Vinyasa Flow

This class is designed for first timers but is also a great refresher for seasoned practitioners. This practice focuses on the details of alignment, form, and breath work. The perfect place to start and/or evolve. This 60 minute basic Vinyasa flow class includes the following sequence:

  • initial relaxation
  • breathing exercises
  • sun salutations & vinyasa flow
  • a final deep relaxation

The Yoga postures (asanas) and the breathing exercises (pranayama) are meditative and serve to harmonize the body, the mind and the intellect. This aids in:

  • releasing tension
  • stimulating blood circulation
  • promoting the proper function of the internal organs for total-body health

Alternating focus on movement, breath and conscious relaxation brings awareness within, and encourages calmness—a real experience of ancient Yoga that will bring you a sense of well-being. Leave feeling peaceful and rejuvenated.

Gentle Detox

Gentle Detox will focus on releasing tension, connecting with the breath, and allow to let go of stress, tightness, fear, anger, pain, etc… The teacher will help each student gain strength and flexibility with ease and reminding them to breathe. Detoxing will happen in many ways and from the body, the mind, or even the heart. The body might release pain or in another physical way. The mind may open or start having an epiphany. Emotions may show a release though tears. These are just some possibilities, it can be different for each person. Make sure you drink lots of water after the class to flush out toxins and impurities.
